The Area

Munkebo is a small town beautifully situated at the end of Kerteminde Fjord. Kerteminde, with its charming interconnected houses, is just 7 km from Munkebo and offers some of Fyn's best beaches, along with many cozy shops, cafés, and restaurants. From the picturesque harbor, fishing boats still set out to sea, where you can buy freshly caught fish in the morning. Experience one of Fyn's major attractions, Fjord&Bælt, featuring seals, a crab pool, and an underwater tunnel. Visit Johannes Larsen's Museum, which showcases the famous painter's house, and the Viking ship grave Ladbyskibet.
